Invisible People
feature-lenth documentary, in production

Invisible People is the story of people who go unnoticed in our everyday life because they are hidden behind the bright blue and green food delivery bags on the streets of Riga. They are mostly foreign students who, by cycling long distances every day, provide themselves with the means to live and study in Riga. Although we live in the same city, few of us have come into close contact with the characters in the story, so we have no idea what life paths have brought them to Latvia and how they feel about life here. The film will give an insight into the daily life of these students - their living, educational and working conditions, as well as enlightening viewers about the different nationalities of the communities in Latvia. By offering us the opportunity to look at our society through the eyes of a stranger, the film will make each viewer think about their own role in society, while reminding us that, regardless of race or nationality, behind every cold bag is a person whose body has blood of the same color as ours.
