Director statement
This short was conceived, written and directed in just 48 hours as part of the 48 Hour Film Project competition that took place in Vilnius, Lithuania. Overall this was an amazing experience for the entire team, while the result proves that creativity and art thrives on limitation. While we all had a lot of fun (and stress!) writing, shooting and editing the film, we are also extremely happy with how it turned out. We have received the Audience Award and Best Writing Award, while the film took the 3rd Place as the Best Film Overall.
Five Hours Until the Blood Moon is a short entertaining horror comedy that works great even outside the context of the 48hfp competition.
